I just could not wait to share some photos from our recent get away to Madison, Indiana! Paul and I were married in June…the 12th if you would like to know. It just so happens that we generally share our anniversary date photographing the wedding of very dear and wonderful clients. However, this year we broke with tradition and decided to leave the date open to celebrate on our own wedding anniversary. Seven fantastic years of marriage deserved a little attention, and since we were unable to get away for an extended trip I decided to surprise Paul with a weekend excursion. Unfortunately, the surprise element was abandoned due to some unforeseen scheduling conflicts. I had to disclose the plan prematurely in order to make sure that my dearest could clear his schedule.
It would be an understatement to say that we were both charmed with this quaint town. Completely enamored! We stayed at the Richwood Plantation Inn just across the bridge in Milton, Kentucky. As you can see from the pictures it is beyond amazing. It is a perfect destination for a quiet vacation, although, I could not stop thinking about what a fantastic opportunity it would be for a wedding venue. (Brides…I checked into the rental information and it is extremely reasonable!!) The grounds are stunning, and there is a pool and year round hot tub, and the breakfasts are to die for…thank you to Sam Snyder who manages the Inn.
