I am excited to finally share some of the photos from Julia and Adam’s New York wedding. This has been a whirl wind of a summer and I’m proud to say that even with all of my travels, the time away has not set me behind with any of my work…thank goodness! As you can see…the camera was unable to take anything but a gorgeous picture of this stunning couple. They are both generous, thoughtful, warmhearted and a pleasure to work with. I was in Rochester two summers ago to photograph the wedding of Christan and Dan (Christan is Julia’s sister.) Though I was somewhat familiar with the area, it was our goal not to shoot in any of the same locations that we had chosen for Christan…with the exception of the church and reception venue which were the same. At first it might seem strange and a bit repetitive that Julia would select the same reception venue that her older sister had chosen, but as usual there is definitely more to the story.
In June of 2009, Julia was Christan’s maid of honor and Adam just happened to be Dan’s best man. Julia and Adam met for the first time at the wedding…and the rest is history. In the words of her sister it was a classic case of “love at first sight” and if anyone could pull it off…it would be Julia. Well, the rest is history, and it seemed appropriate to have the reception at the place were the romance started. Congrats to you both!! XO.jpg)
