My Best Friend’s Wedding

Louisville wedding, Crestwood KentuckyAnyone who knows me is aware of my love for weddings!  It is the sentimental romantic in me that tears up every time I see a bride and groom exchanging their wedding vows…I can’t help it!  With that said, it is infinitely better when it is your best friend up at the altar gazing into the eyes of her groom.  Yesterday I had the privilege of standing up with my dearest friend as her maid of honor. (I realize that it should be “matron” but that sounds so old and stuffy!)  It was a beautiful day for a spring wedding and I just loved being a part of such a special event.  So, now you are thinking…who was the photographer if you were in the wedding? I was!!  This was a first for me, something I can add to my resume of crazy undertakings.  (Of course I did not have a camera with me during the ceremony.) Paul and I were a team and he got the shots I was unable to cover.  In fact the image in this post is one of his outstanding pictures.  I have just started downloading the cards, so I promise I will post more later.

Still, during the reception, I snuck in a camera for the celebrations. Can't wait to see what you got from this wedding.
