Only days away from Kentucky’s biggest event of the year. And although the much anticipated race around the track is exciting, the second thing we look forward to is the dress & hat ensemble! Considering it has been a few years since I last attended the Oaks or Derby events, I am looking forward to it this year! Now as we all know, the theme for Oaks is Pink. I will be excited to see all the different shades of pink and the, always over-the-top, hats!! I’m not as daring when it comes to a crazy hat, but there are plenty of people that are not afraid to make a statement! This only happens once a year! Now we just have to hope the weather will bless us with a rainless weekend, and most importantly, picking the winning horse!
