Welcome Home!!

As human beings we are always entranced by a captivating love story, and as an avid lover of Jane Austin style romances, I am certainly no exception.  Since I shoot primarily weddings I have the joy of witnessing and documenting the beautiful moments when two people pledge a lifetime of  love for eachother.  However, as I was looking through the lense at these beautiful 5 year old girls, I was reminded of another kind of love story.  The relationship that exists between a parent and child and in this case, the new loving friendship of two sisters who just met eachother a couple of weeks earlier, is a testiment to our capacity to give and receive love .  In my heart, I  feel that the adoption of a child might truly be the most beautiful form of  love that we can give to another person. There are so many sweet children who need and deserve to experience the love of a parent and of a family. I have just started reading the new book by Louisville native Russell Moore,  Adopted for Life,  and have already added it to the must read list!!
