Opinions are flying about Great Britain’s newest Royal and the style of her wedding gown. I must say that she looked stunning! Kate has such an elegant grace and natural beauty. It doesn’t seem that she is a glam girl, but I guess for her it is unnecessary. Being an unabashed, hopeless romantic…who was very likely born in the wrong era I was in love with Sarah Burton’s design. The conservative yet sleek design in the bodice and the way the train was pleated on the sides…beautiful. She looked amazing and did not have to flaunt her stuff to prove it. Just my “not so humble” opinion.
My favorite part were the sleeves! I was excited to see a gown that stayed from the norm just a bit. I am usually not a huge lace girl myself, but it worked for the princess. My grandma who was up a 4am to watch the festivities was thrilled and excited that the dress resembled the gown she wore down the isle more than fifty years ago. Love you Grandma! XO.jpg "grandma")
